Artist’s Words:
I never met Brian, but through his wife, Cherie, son, Little Brian, and best friend Lt. Alan Hart, I feel as though I know a very good, young man with an enthusiasm for law enforcement, especially, the K-9 unit, that was palpable. He was shot during a “friendly call,” and I found that during the sculpting process, his family and friends each were able to deal in some way with that sudden, horrific loss.
